PM Modi Thanks Bollywood celebrities for contributing to PM Cares fund

Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked Alia Bhatt, Aayushman Khurana, Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and others from the film fraternity is a tweet for their support towards the newly-formed PM’s Citizen Assistance and relief in PM-Cares fund.

He wrote, “India’s stars are playing a starring role even in ensuring the health of the nation. They’re playing a leading role in raising awareness as well as in contributing to PM-CARES. Thanks @nanagpatekar , @AjayDevgnFilms , @TheAaryanKartik and @TheShilpaShetty.”

PM Narendra Modi announced the emergency relief fund on March 28 to fight the novel coronavirus. The pandemic has gained momentum in the country as the number of positive cases has climbed to 1438. The virus has claimed 41 lives in India till date.

Modi also acknowledged Tat Group’s contribution of Rs500 crore and thanked Ratan Tata.
