Salman Khan told the Mumbai Crime Branch’s anti-extortion squad, “I think the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is responsible for the firing on my balcony,” as reported by India Today.

“Earlier also, Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang members in an interview talked about killing me and my relatives. So, I believe that Lawrence Bishnoi, with the help of his gang members carried out the firing incident when my family members were sleeping inside and planning to kill me and my family members so they carried out the attack,” the actor added.

Khan further detailed the previous threats by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and said, “After that, in March 2023, an email was received on my official email of an employee in my team threatening me and my family from Lawrence Bishnoi.

In this regard, a case was registered by my team member at Bandra police station.” He also revealed that in January this year, two people attempted to trespass his farmhouse in Panvel by using fake names and identities.

In the Bandra neighborhood of Mumbai, there were gunshots fired in April of this year outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments.

Afterwards, it was revealed that the brother of the criminal, Anmol Bishnoi, had taken credit for the shooting event on Facebook, raising suspicions that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was responsible for the attack.

Devendra Budiya, the president of the All India Bishnoi Society, also made a statement in May in which he contended that the Bollywood actor’s apologies would be taken into consideration in the event that he asked for forgiveness.

“The Bishnoi community will take Salman’s apology into consideration if he makes one personally. The mistake was not made by Somy Ali, but it was committed by Salman,” the Bishnoi gang leader told IANS, as quoted by Pinkvilla.

“Therefore, he should propose to the Bishnoi society that he wants to apologize. He should come to the temple and seek forgiveness. He should further take an oath that he will never make such a mistake in the future and will always work to protect wildlife and conserve the environment. If he does this, a decision of the society to forgive him will be considered,” he added.
