Ghostwire Tokyo 25th March Release Date Leaks on Youtube

Ghostwire: Tokyo 25th March Release Date:- A Ghostwire: Tokyo showcase video is set to debut tomorrow, at 10PM on 3rd February. But the placeholder page on YouTube has already leaked that the game will release on 25th March 2022 for PlayStation 5 and PC.

The date hasn’t been officially announced at this point. But the beans were spilled in the listing for an upcoming PlayStation Showcase on YouTube.

“Face the unknown in Ghostwire: Tokyo, launching March 25, 2022 on PlayStation 5,” the listing states, an amusing bit of irony given that Tango Gameworks is a division of ZeniMax Media, which is now owned by Microsoft. The game was originally supposed to be out in 2021. But in July of that year was pushed into early 2022—and, for the record, it’s also confirmed as coming to PC.

Though the studio has since shown more of the title in action, firm release details remain under wraps – at least in terms of official news.

Interestingly, a PlayStation Store listing in late January hinted Ghostwire: Tokyo would finally hit PS5 on March 24.

Neither Sony nor Bethesda have formally confirmed as much, leaving many to wonder if the listing served as little more than a misnomer, especially since the date in question is right around the corner and information about the launch remains scant at best.

“Assisting them in creating a more action-oriented game is Shinichiro Hara, who worked on the push-forward combat and Glory Kill system in DOOM (2016). And is now the Combat Director on GhostWire: Tokyo,” Bethesda said at the time. “Hara and the combat team at Tango have created an intricate, combo-based system that utilizes movements inspired by traditional Kuji-kiri hand gestures.”

Ghostwire: Tokyo was announced back at E3 2019, the game was originally intended for release in 2021. Though has been one of the many, many, many games that have been delayed through a particularly trying period for the games industry as a whole.

It is in development for PlayStation 5 and PC, a timed console exclusive to Sony’s console, despite Microsoft now owning publisher Bethesda. Xbox owners will expect to see the game release for Xbox Series X|S one year after its PlayStation 5 release.

It’s also notable that nobody’s bothered to remove the date yet.

I think that makes it a very solid bet, but I’ve reached out to Bethesda to confirm, just to be sure, and I’ll update if I receive a reply.

Either way, if you’d like to know more about Ghostwire: Tokyo. You’ll probably want to tune into this PlayStation Showcase, which is set to begin at 2 pm PT/5 pm ET on February 3.
