Karenjti Kaur: The Untold Story of Sunny Leone, Cant Use “Kaur” in Biopic

On Saturday , it was reported that the Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee has objected to the title of Sunny Leone’s biopic Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story of Sunny Leon as they feel that a who does not follow the teachings of Sikh Gurus should not use the name “Kaur”.

 

According to the report, SGPC have objected to the use of Kaur in the title of the film will premiere on Zee5 on July 16.

The actress refused to comment on it, tweeting on Saturday “the next chapter of my life starts in few days, are you ready to take the journey with me through my eyes, #guiltyofdoingitmyway @ZEE5India @namahpictures @freshlimefilms @adidatt #karenjitkaur.”

 

Ever since she has her Bollywood debut with 2012 film Jism, Sunny Leone has managed to garner a huge fan base for herself. After becoming most googled celebrity , the actress is all set to narrate her life story with 20 episode web series title Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story of Sunny Leone. The trailer of the biopic has released on 5th July.
It comes as no surprise that ZEE5 has brought this highly anticipated series to Indian audiences.

You will see Sunny from a young age played by 14th year old Rysa Saujani

 

Her brother Sunny is played by Karamvir Lamba, her mother and father are played by Grusha Singh and Bijay Jasjit Anand. Daniel her husband is played by March Buckner.

 

Biopic has two season has 10 episodes in the firs season, in the first session talked us on the earlier life Journey of Sunny Leone. Revealing her transition into the adult film industry featuring her struggles, opportunities and clashes with culture being a young girl from Sikh Punjabi household settled in Canada. The series intends to take us an emotional rollercoaster of the actress growing up.
