A number of country have offered aid to help rebuilds a rain battered Kerala, total around Rs 740 crore, but India has politely declined all offers, Yesterday.

Kerala is limping back to normalcy and trying ti rebuild the state hit by the worst natural disaster in nearly a century, Uncertainty still remains over the Rs 700 crore aid the United Arab Emirates had announced.
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday announced that the UAE has offered to help rebuild the flood-ravaged state.
Offer of financial aid was conveyed to PM Narendra Modi by Sheikh Mohammed bun Zayed bu Sultan Al-Nahyan, crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, According to the CM.
The center has indicated that it is not in favor of taking outside help from any country or oganization. the government had earlier said that no to UN support for the state saying that the Indian government was able to manage the relief activites in the flood hit state.
Kerala Need more than Rs 21,00 crore for Rebuilds after Floods
Kerala is on the road to recovery with rescue operations nearly complete, the priority has shifted to providing relief and rebuilding infrastructure .
Destruction is widespread and the damage severe, Kerala needs significant financial assistance. State authorities have estimated the overall damage to be worth more than Rs 21,000 crore.
CM Pinarayi Vijayan is open to any help can get including from other countries like UAE which CM is willing to offer up to Rs 700 crore. but for reason est known to itself, the central government thinks otherwise. the centre believes that India can sufficiently deal with the finances required to rebuild Kerala.
Floods in kerala has caused widespread devasation, more than 10,000 kilometres of roads have been damaged. and no of house to be rebuilt vary from 20,000 to 50,000, as reports NDTV.
So far centre has decided on providing Rs 600 crore immediate aid, this is Rs 100 crore lesser than 700 crore the CM claims is being offered by UAE. State Authorities have estimated the damage to be worth more than Rs 21,000 crore.
