India have clinched another gold in Asian Games 2018, Arpinder Singh took the top spot in men’s triple jump Dute chand won her second medal of the Asian Games 2018.

Though his fellow countryman Raksh Babbu AV finished sixth in Men’s Triple Jump on the 11th day of the 2018 Asian Games.

Arpinder achieve the distance of 16.77 to seal Gold medal, this is the first medal in 48 years for India in the sport of Triple Jump.

Uzbekistan’s Ruslan Kurbanov bagged the silver medal with a personal best jump of 16.62 metres while Kohei Yamashita clinched the bronze with a best jump of 16.46 metres.

Arpinder’s first jump was disqualified but he then managed five clean jumps, The third saw him touch the 16.77 metres mark which got him the gold medal .

His other successfull jumps were 16.58m and 16.08m while the three jumps were disqualified.

with India’s 10th Gold medal , 20 silver and 23 bronze and total 53 medals.

Sharath Achanta Kamal and Manika Batra settled for bronze after losing to Chinese duo in the semi final of mixed team table tennis.

Asian Games 2018 Day 10 Review:

Manjit singh came from nowhere to snatch the men’s 800m gold for the biggest medal of his life but finals continued to be a riddle for PV Sindhu, taking some seen off her historic silver.

India clinched a silver medal which came from star sprinter Dutee Chand, who finished in the woman’s 200m final with a time of 23.30 seconds, Reported India Today.
