MS Dhoni’s low and steady knock of 56 off 61 balls against West Indies at Old Trafford. Dhoni walked in with India on 122/3 in 27th over against Afghanistan, when Virat Kohli departed after scoring a breezy-century, Dhoni decided he will bat long. Dhoni scores 17 runs of 32 balls in this period while Kohli faces 24 balls in this phase for his 21 runs. In overs 31-40, India score 38/1- the momentum that Kohli has assiduously built is gone, once again.

As per a report of CricViz Analyst, In ODI in 2019, MS Dhoni’s low strike rate in the first 15 balls of his innings is just 35.18. Only two players in world cricket scored more slowly than him in that stage their Innings.
