SA vs IND Test Rishabh Pant score 100 Runs and Shuttnig Everyones Mouth

SA vs IND Test Rishabh Pant score 100* Runs and Shuttnig Everyone’s Mouth: Rishabh Pant scored unbeaten 100 to help India set a 212-run target for South Africa in the series-deciding third Test in Cape Town on Thursday.

Off the 2nd ball of the 60th over of the Indian second innings, the left-hander drove the ball to cover and then indulged in a funny act.

He ran sideways as if pretending to complete a run and then came back. But no harm was done, as he was always inside the crease.

During his blistering knock, he also hammered six fours and four maximums. Former India opener Virender Sehwag led the reactions on Twitter as fans and experts lauded the wicketkeeper-batter.

The legendary cricketer wrote, “Incredible 100 from #RishabhPant . Just two other batsmen reached double fingers and have single-handedly kept India in the game. Not just an ex-factor but one of India’s biggest match-winner in Test cricket.”

Struggling Cheteshwar Pujara (9) and Ajinkya Rahane (1) failed yet again while Virat Kohli (29 off 143 balls) did his best to stay at the crease as long as possible before Ngidi dismissed the skipper.

In fact, India were reeling at 58/4 at one stage, and the Proteas were all over the visitors. However, Pant combined with his skipper Virat Kohli and put on a superb partnership of 94 runs for the 5th wicket.

Marco Jansen was the pick of the bowlers for the South African outfit. The left-arm seamer bagged a four-wicket haul for his side, while the likes of Lungi Ngidi and Kagiso Rabada chipped in with 3 wickets each.

IPL side Rajasthan Royals (RR) also hailed the ton and called it “top-quality”.

“”Take care of your bat and it will take care of you!” A top-quality ton from Rishabh Pant 100″, wrote RR.

“A simply outstanding knock by @RishabhPant17 at a crucial stage! Well done”, wrote Sachin Tendulkar.
