T20 World Cup 2022 Full Schedule, Squads, Venue, Teams: The International Cricket Council has revealed the full schedule of the T20 World Cup 2022. The match will be kicked off on October 16.
The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will be hosted by Australia. However, the previous edition played in UAE, shifted from India due to COVID-19.
In the last World Cup Australia was the winning team after beating Pakistan.
Before the World Cup, there will be warm-up matches will be held in Melbourne and Brisbane for all 16 teams.
The First Round teams will play their warm-up fixtures between October 10 and 13 with matches to be divided between the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Junction Oval.
The teams that qualified to play the Super 12 round directly will play their warm-up games in Brisbane on October 17 and 19.

This year’s tournament will feature 16 teams. Eight teams, namely India, Pakistan, South Africa, Bangladesh, Australia, New Zealand, England, and Afghanistan have directly qualified for the Super 12 round.
The other teams – Sri Lanka, Namibia, West Indies, Zimbabwe, UAE, Netherlands, Scotland, and Ireland – will play in the qualifying round, with four teams joining the other eight in the Super 12s.
T20 World Cup 2022 Match Date & Time (Round-1):
Round 1 is the qualifying round as eight teams still need to qualify for the second round. The eight teams were divided into two groups- Group A and Group-B
Group A: Sri Lanka, Namibia, UAE, and Netherlands
Group-B: West Indies, Scotland, Zimbabwe, and Ireland
The first one starts at 9:30 am IST (3:00 pm local), while the second one starts at 1:30 pm IST (7:00 pm local). Group B matches will take place at the same timings on October 17, 19 and 21.
