Tilak Verma is Highly Talented, He Did So well on Debut

Tilak Verma is Highly Talented, He Did So well on Debut: Debutant Tilak Verma showcased his attacking batting skills, winning praise from teammate Arshdeep Singh. Despite the loss, Arshdeep said that Verma’s wicket was not the turning point of the game. The young batter played some impressive shots and showed great composure under pressure.

I can’t say it was the turning point. It is his style of playing. He plays a lots of attacking shots and in those he will gives chances but as we have seen, he is massively talented and he did so well on his debut, when he was immensely under pressure and not to forget we were chasing. He played few beautiful shots and I think he should always back his game and in the future he will help team win a lot of matches,” Arshdeep told the reporters.

“We will review the match and identify areas of improvement in both batting and bowling. Having a set batter in such situations would have been beneficial,” Arshdeep said.

Arshdeep himself played a valiant knock in the 19th over, scoring two boundaries to keep India’s hopes alive, but unfortunately, he couldn’t take the team over the line. Reflecting on India’s long tail, Arshdeep stated that such concerns only arise when the team is on the losing side. He reassured that the playing XI was confident and backed each other, regardless of the number of bowlers in the lineup.
