ICC Announces Names On-field Umpires for World Cup Final 2023: The ODI World Cup 2023 is nearing its conclusion, and the Indian Cricket Board (ICC) has revealed the officials who will preside over the highly awaited match between Australia and India on November 19.

The match umpire will be Andy Pycroft, while the on-field umpires will be Richard Illingworth and Richard Kettleborough. The third and fourth umpires will be Joel Wilson and Chris Gaffaney, respectively.

In the opening World Cup match between Australia and India in Chepauk, the hosts defeated the five-time world champions by six wickets.

The Indian squad, led by MS Dhoni, will be keen to end their trophy drought in cricket. Their most recent victory came in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.

Since then, India has advanced to several tournament semifinals and finals but has not been able to win the championship.

India lost to Australia by 95 runs in the 2015 World Cup semifinal, but the determined Kiwis upset them in the 2019 edition’s semifinals.

India is keen to exact revenge on Australia for their 2015 loss after eliminating them in the quarterfinals of this World Cup to exact revenge on them for their defeat to New Zealand. They would be very excited to land the ultimate blow, earn a position in the championship match, and win the big event of 2023.

The Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran aerobatic team will do an air display before to the match at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Due to the increased demand from fans hoping to see the match, hotel room rates in Ahmedabad and flights into the city have increased. Hotel room tariffs for the night of the match have risen to as high as Rs 2 lakh in top five-star hotels, while other hotels have also increased their rates by five to seven times.
