World Cup 2023: Mohammad Amir Names Two Finalists For ODI World Cup 2023

Mohammad Amir Names Two Finalists For ODI World Cup 2023: This year, India is one of the favourites to win the ICC Cricket World Cup, and the majority of experts predict that India will at least make it to the championship match.

The top wicket-taker for Pakistan in the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup, Mohammad Amir, selected India and England as his two finalists. He also showed interest in seeing Pakistan and India play in the championship game.

The defending champions, England, are a tremendously good team that can successfully defend their championship.

There is no doubt that Mohammad Amir choose England over Pakistan based on England’s recent results.

Even though England’s first match against New Zealand ended in defeat, there is still plenty of time for them to turn things around and perhaps go to the finals.

Mohammad Amir highlighted a desire for India and Pakistan to compete in the finals when discussing Pakistan’s chances in the World Cup.

On paper, he thought that India and England would clash in the finals but he could not rule India out of the running and spoke about momentum.

“Dua hai ki Pakistan-India khele lekin England-India jo technically cricket ki sense se dekhein toh India aur England. India ko write off kar nahi sakte. Vo toh depend karega ki momentum kaisahai, lekin agar aap on paper dekhein to England aur India,” he said on Pakistan’s Hasna Mana Hai TV show.

“England, India, Australia, Pakistan. Pehele main New Zealand ko kar raha tha par ab Pakistan ko kyuki ab Pakistan team par koi pressure nahi hai. Jab Pakistan team ko sab write off karte hai naa fir humari team aake kuch different karti hai,” Amir added.

“Maine predict kiya tha Pakistan-India final, Champions Trophy ka jaise hua tha. Insha’Allah, meri dua hai ki wahi ho. Pakistan-India final hua toh Pakistan jeetegi,” said Imad Wasim.

Pakistan defeated the Netherlands in their opening encounter, and they are now prepared to take against Sri Lanka once more on October 10 in Hyderabad. The showdown between India and Pakistan would thereafter take place on October 14 in Ahmedabad.
