England win by 159 runs, India 0-2 behind in five match series

India suffered an embarrassing 159 run innings defeat in the second test against England after yet batting failure on day four at Lord’s in London. Leaving struggling India 0-2 behind in the five match series.

Indian batsman failed to learn from their mistakes and were all at sea against the moving ball as the second inning folded up for 130 in 47 overs.

James Anderson once again toyed with the opposition, taking his match tally to nice, and equally effective was Sturat Broad.

 

England resumed at overnight 356 for six, declared their first innings at 396 for seven earlier on Sunday with Chris Woakes staying unbeaten on 137.

 

Skipper Virat Kohli said after lose the second match, “Not proud of the way we have played. First time in the last five tests that we have been outplayed, we deserve to lose this game, the way we went about thing. Can not really think about conditions when you are playing the game. England are 2-0 up in the series and further humiliation could be the corner.
