India are in control with a massive lead by 292 runs

A stumps on day two, India are in control of third Test with a big lead of 292 runs, bowlers did more than enough to hand their side with a huge advantages, after running England’s batting order in the afternoon session.

Hardik Pandya led the way with his maiden five wicket haul as India made a strong massive comeback in the series by taking complete control of 3rd test against England.

 

India were in strong place at 124/2 in 31 overs in the second inning with C Pujara (33) and V Kohli (8). Thus India took an overall lead 292 runs in Day 2.

After a disappoint morning , India have loosed remaining wickets but things turned around for India in the post lunch session as Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah struck in quick succession.

England teaem collapsed like a pack of cards and all out for 161 in 38.2 overs, India got a healthy lead of 169 runs.
Opener S Dhawan and KL Rahul stitched yet another 50 runs opening stand before Rahul (36) missed an in swinger from Ben Stokes.

 

But Ben Stokes (1/30) broke the partnership by cleaning up Rahul in the 12th overs. Then C Pujara was cautions after his recent failure and put on 51 runs with Dhawan for the second wicket before A Rashid (1/23) foxed the left handler with a googly.

Extending in the second innings , At Stumps, Virat Kohli and C Pujara remained unbeaten.

England were decent start in the first inning, as England were 46 without any wickets at lunch, but Indian bowlers came all guns blazing to hand their side a 168 runs lead after India’s first Inning score of 329.

Pacer Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah scalped couple of wicket while Mohammed Shami bagged one.
