5 Features Removed from GTA 5 that Make NO Sense: In many aspects, Grand Theft Auto 5 was an improvement over other games in the series. Regrettably, Rockstar Games also eliminated a few fan-appreciated elements from earlier games.
The 2013 championship wasn’t a horrible game because of their absence, but it might have been much better with them in it. Grand Theft Auto 6, the upcoming game in the series, is eagerly anticipated by fans.
Although several elements that were eliminated by its predecessor are anticipated to be included, it is unclear if this will really occur. Having said that, let’s examine five features from Grand Theft Auto 5 that were deleted because they were illogical.
Crouching is one of the most basic mechanics not only in Grand Theft Auto titles but also in all of gaming. But you can’t crouch outside of cover in GTA 5, as this feature was replaced by the stealth stance. Although this concept is interesting, it wasn’t executed in the best manner. Moreover, it shouldn’t have been added in place of the crouching mechanic.
Melee combat was one area where Grand Theft Auto 4 excelled over GTA 5. The title had particularly exciting hand-to-hand fighting since players could execute multiple moves and evade oncoming strikes. Unfortunately, Rockstar was unable to duplicate this feature in Grand Theft Auto 5, which has mediocre melee fighting.
Numerous games in this franchise contain vigilante missions. As the name implies, these side missions provide a completely new viewpoint by enabling users to uphold law and order in the city. One needs access to a police car in order to perform vigilante missions in games like Grand Theft Auto 4, Vice City, and San Andreas.
Including a large number of enterable structures is one approach to enhance the immersive experience of open-world games like Grand Theft Auto. Regretfully, GTA 5 hasn’t done well in this department. Among its enterable structures, Grand Theft Auto 4’s predecessor has a lot of accessible eateries.
In Grand Theft Auto 4, the ability to pick up and toss inanimate objects—like bricks and cups—was a basic but very entertaining feature. In fact, Bull in a China Shop, one of its tasks, demands players to toss bricks through a shop window to smash it.
