PUBG Update 5.1 with Season 5 Coming Soon, brings Miramar Changes, Weapon Throwing and more

The PC version of the PUBG test server just got the new PUBG Update 5.1 with Season 5. The new update brings several changes to the Miramar map and a few interesting features.

There will be a new supervisor pass as well with the new season, and its called Supervisor Pass: Badlands. PUBG Developers are also introducing a new Community Mission System.

The Developer is adding a racetrack to the map, as well as ramps, jumps, loops, and signboards. A gold Mirado has also been added. Just one of these will spawn per match and the only place you can find it is at the garage in Hacienda del Patron.

New melee weapons can now be thrown, will be very useful, and players can throw supplies to teammates now from a distance. And the Win94 is now a Miramar exclusive weapon and comes with a fixed 2x scope.

A vending machine will be added to Miramar like in Fortnite. These will spawn inset areas around the map-namely arenas, gas station, motels, the casino, and commercial building-but their exact locations will vary by match, and they’ll dispense healing items like painkillers and Energy Drinks.

A Vending machine has been placed in Miramar and Camp Jackal to provide a new looting experience other than picking up items spawned on the floor. It will be protected by cutting-edge anti-theft technology.

A Supervisor Pass is back with new rewards, missions, and improved systems. Whether players have purchased Premium Pass or not, all players can join together to fill the Community accomplishment gauge.

In Season 5 of PUBG, you can now throw items to your teammates. If an ally is requesting a healing item or ammo, you’ll see a prompt that allows you to chuck the requested items to them.

Melee weapons also now stack in your inventory, allowing you to carry more than one at a time.
