Remnant 2 Tips: How to Beat The Astropath

Remnant 2 How to Beat The Astropath: The Astropath is one of the Remnant 2’s boss battles located in the world of N’Erud, which contains several boss encounters and event for gamer to discover.

The Astropath is a spectral life boss that can be one of the trickier bosses to find in Remnant 2’s world of N’Erud.

It appears through activating a secret area within the maze like dungeon of Astropath’s Respite.

Although the Astropath is not necessarily one of the hardest Remnant 2 bosses, it has some unique attacks that can prove challenging to overcome, even while playing co-op.

However, once players know the best strategies to beat Astropath, they are rewarded with another of Remnant 2’s craftable mod ingredients.

Players activate the Astropath boss battle when interacting with a strange chair in an upper level of Astropath’s Respite. At first, the room seems like a bit of a dead end. However, the chair turns out to be an elevator mechanism, trapping the player inside and taking them into a circular room with a purple orb-like hologram in the middle.

There’s also a nearby elevator players can take to drop to the floor below. The circular room containing Astropath is located underneath the highest level of Astropath’s Respite, as pictured in the map location below:

When entering the circular room, a cut scene triggers show pink and yellow skeletal entities merging to form the Astropath boss, which players must now fight. Some Remnant 2 beginner players might struggle with the boss at first or may want to team up with other players to take it down. The Astropath boss has five core attacks that players can evade or counter as follows:

A close-range deadly swipe: maintain distance and dish out damage with guns and projectiles as much as possible.
A charged-up, rotating segment force field that inflicts heavy damage: players should step or roll into the segment gaps when the force field turns red to avoid taking damage. Here, the Astropath takes the form of an orb in the center of the hologram, which players can shoot in between charges.
A charged-up wave pulse: when the Astropath retreats into the hologram, turning it red, it can also emit a single powerful wave of energy that can seem near-impossible to avoid. Players can perform a well-timed dodge roll to avoid it, but most of the time may have to take the hit, so keeping tabs on their health is crucial.

Yellow orb projectiles and minions: players can roll to dodge incoming orbs and shoot or slash skeletal minions with a ranged or melee weapon.

Pink Specter with projectiles: when the room turns black, it’s time to dodge incoming orbs and target the spectral minions that teleport and disappear into the floor, keeping distance to avoid their punishing close-range swipes.
