Google Launched Android 9 Pie (Go Edition) for Entry Level Phones

Google has launched a Go Edition of its recently AI packed Android 9 Pie with additional storage , faster boot time, better security and more to bring improvement to entry Level Phones.

In the Go Edition brings a fully redesigned set of Google apps, which are specia]ficall bult to serve the needs of first time smartphone owners.

“Along with an additional 500MB storage , Android 9 Pie (Go Edition) also comes with feature like verified boot and an accessible dashboard for tracking and monitoring data consumption” Director of Product management, Sagar Kamdar wrote.

Kamdar Added, WE welcomes our first wave of Android phones this April, and now there are more than 200 device available in 120+ countries.

 

Android 9 pie is now available on Google’s Pixel phones and the Essential Phone followed by Motorola, which plans to ship Pie to many of its flagships this fall.

Kamdar added few more thing, “A core part of these apps include unique feature , like free downloading in Youtube go, that are not found in the classical app.”

Google launched Android 9 Pie Earlier in August that uses AI to predict how users would like to experience their devices while offering a smoother navigation system and features loke Adaptive Battery which learns the apps users use most and priorities battery for them.

 

Android Go edition phones only have mid range to low specs, they only have as little as 1 GB RAM, 8GB storage, and HD or VGA display or be as affordable as $30. Some android Go phones that have hit the market are those from Micromax, Intex, Lava and Karbonn.
