Spanish midfielder David Silva has retires after Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique from International Football Team.
32 year old Manchester City playmaker wont he World Cup in 2010 and European championship in 2008 and 2012, He had a key player during Spain’s golden era.
David Silva Said in Social Media, “I leave proud and happy, bringing an end to a time full of emotions and memories, like of the figure of Luise Aragones. A maestro who will never be forgotten. I lived and dreamed with a team that will forever be remembered.”
He added more, I have spent days weeks considering this, the national team gave me everything and helped me grow as a player and a person.

D Silva scored 35 goals in 125 games for the national team over 12 years and was described as “Spain Lionel Messi” by former coach Vicente del Bosque.
Midfielder was part of the squad which was surprisingly eliminate by hosts Russia in the last 16 of 2018 World Cup.
Silva’s announcement follows on from the International retirement of centre-back Gerard Pique last week. The 31 year old made the last of his 102 International appearances in Spain’s World Cup loss to Russia .
Enrique took over as coach after the World Cup last month, which saw Fernando Hierro in temporary charge following the shock sacking of Julen Lopetegui on the eve of the tournament.
