Xiaomi has stared rollout of first stable version of MIUI 10 in China, after almost three months since its launch in Beta. the first Smartphone to get MIUI 10 stable version is the Xiaomi Mi 6.
Mi 6 has been launched back in 2017 with android 7. Nougat and MIUI 8. Meanwhile the MIUI 10 update is based on the Android Oreo.
the latest development comes only few days after the Chinese mobile maker suspending roll out of the MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM 8.8.9 due to major bugs.
the new ROM comes pre-installed on Mi 8, Mi 8 SE and Mi 8 Explorer edition, since then the new custom ROM has been rolled out to a number of eligible Xiaomi models.
The update is available via an OTA upgrade , which can be downloaded from the smartphone itself. The OTA update also include the latest Android security patch for August and comes in a package size of 589MB.
It must be noted that MIUI 10 is still based on the Android Oreo and not Android P. however there have still some significant improvement in MIUI 10.
Mi 6 owners in China can also expect a host of bug fixes and enhancements with the MIUI 10 stable update.

Xiaomi claims users can user the voice AI feature for playing music, navigation wile driving and messaging. some other changes included with the latest software release support for Sony’s LDAC Bluethooth codec. Camera optimizations for AI Portrait Mode,
MIUI also focuses on improved performance using AI to optimized the user experienced. and comes with AI Preload, which is aimed at reducing app load times and other key UI elements.
