Apple iPhone 11 series to use same OLED Displays as Samsung Galaxy Note 10

Apple iPhone 11 will comes with the same OLED Displays used for Samsung’s Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10. Apple is expected to launch its 2019 Apple iPhone 11 series comprising iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max at a special event on Sep 10.

As per the latest report, Apple’s iPhone 11 series could have the same OLED display as used in the Samsung Galaxy S10. The Display on the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus have higher pixel density at 550ppi and 522ppi, respectively, compared to the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.

iPhone maker would launch three iPhone 11 models this year–the D43 would replace the Apple iPhone XS Max, the D42 would replace the Apple iPhone XS and N104 will replace the iPhone XR.

Samsung Display, the Samsung subsidiary, which supplies displays for Apple’s iPhone, will use a group of materials known as M9 in OLED displays of the upcoming 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. M9 is the same that was used for making the OLED displays of Samsung S10 and the Galaxy Note 10, IndiaToday reported.

Reports also claim that the three iPhone models are named iPhone 11 Pro max, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 respectively. Previously, the iPhone 11 XS series would have a triple rear camera setup at the back. All the thee sensor will be replaced similarly, while the iPhone 11 will have a dual rear camera setup.

Known Apple analyst MIng-Chi Kuo had also suggested earlier that the upcoming iPhone models would be equipped with reverse wireless charging.

iPhone 11 will feature a 5.8-inch display 1125 x 2346 pixels resolution. It is expected to come with Apple A11 hex-core processor with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Apple is also likely to launch its Apple Watch Series 5 on Sept 10.
