Redmi Note 9, Note 9 Pro to launch in India on 12 March: Expected price, specifications

Xiaomi’s Redmi is set to launch two new smartphones in India, heating up the competition in the mid-range segment. The Chinese smartphone maker is set to launch its new Note series entailing the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro on 12 March 2020 at noon.

In an official tweet, Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain confirmed that the Redmi Note 9 series is set to arrive on March 12, merely a week after Realme 6 and 6 Pro. The tweet further reads, “Brace yourselves because #ProCamerasMaxPerformance is going to be nothing like you’ve ever seen before!” And you can notice in the teaser image that the Redmi Note 9 will boast a square quad-camera setup.

The images suggest the presence of a quad rear camera on the Redmi Note 9 series which is likely to be aligned in a square shape.

Redmi Note 9 series and it gives you a sneak peek at the aqua-colored 3D glass back panel. You can expect the recently launched Snapdragon 720G to power the Redmi Note 9. I would, however, suggest you take this with a pinch of salt and wait for an official word from the Chinese giant.

The camera system should be led by a 64MP sensor, same as the Redmi Note 8 Pro, so that’s great. You will find a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and speaker grill at the bottom, as seen in this teaser shared by Manu Kumar Jain this morning.

Redmi Note 9 expected price:

The Redmi Note 9 is packed with exciting features. Seen as Xiaomi’s affordable smartphone series.

The Redmi Note 8 series was launched below the ₹20,000-mark, and thus, the same can be expected from Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro.
