Xiaomi continues to be boycotted in Finland and will soon be banned
Xiaomi continues to be boycotted in Finland and will soon be banned: Three significant Finnish mobile carriers, Telia, DNA, and Elisa, have reportedly agreed to boycott Xiaomi and cease stocking its smartphones in their stores.
This is a result of worries over the company’s ties to Russia, which just invaded Ukraine. Nevertheless, a few carriers have said they would continue to promote Xiaomi.

Earlier this year, the National Agency of Corruption Prevention in Ukraine declared Xiaomi an “international sponsor of war” due to its active support for the Russian market. According to a report by Suomimobiili, Ukraine claimed that Xiaomi’s business dealings in Russia aided the Russian army.
“Dissatisfaction with Xiaomi’s operation is now stronger than before, especially in the thoughts of operators’ representatives”, read the report. Of the three carriers, Telia said that it will only sell the Xiaomi devices already in stock and will not order any new ones. DNA said it has removed Xiaomi phones from its display shelves and will not renew its inventory once the stock sells out. Elisa said that it will narrow down its range of Xiaomi products and will monitor the situation closely.

As per BNN Network, Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi, renowned globally for its high-quality and competitively priced devices, is experiencing unforeseen obstacles in the Finnish market due to political and populist factors. The brand’s active presence in Russia has led to the suspension of its products by three major Finnish operators, Telia, DNA, and Elisa. This decision is seen as a response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, despite the fact that various tech companies have withdrawn from Russia as a form of protest and boycott.

The first retailer to halt Xiaomi phone sales during the summer was Veikon Kone. Later, because the competition didn’t follow, it was forced to change its mind. However, Kone is not planning to sell any new models from the Chinese brand in Finland.
However, some Finnish retailers, such as Gigantti and Verkkokauppa, said they will continue to sell Xiaomi products until further notice, as the EU has not imposed any sanctions on the company.
Xiaomi is said to have assured Verkkokauppa.com that it complies with EU legislation, as a result of which the carrier continues to sell the brand’s phones in Finland.

7 Reason to Don’t Buy the iPhone 16: Check Details
7 Reason to Dont Buy the iPhone 16: The American company Apple has recently launched its brand new device- iPhone 16 series in the market. iPhone 16 models come with many features, like A18 Pro chip, durable ceramic sheild glass, and more.
There are some missing features with the iPhone 16 to be sure. And we may discover more about the device.

Here are the reasons to buy the iPhone 16 series:
60Hz refresh rate remains:
Among the major phone manufacturers, Apple is still unique in that its flagship phones have long ago been fitted with fast-refreshing screens. Currently, premium phones almost always come with a faster refresh rate since it makes for better navigation and more engaging visuals.
But not so far as Apple is concerned. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus remain stuck at 60Hz.
No Front and Telephoto Camera:
Apple has not made any major camera improvements to the iPhone 16 Pro. The main and ultrawide shooters offer some improvement in image quality because of a newer sensor. The 12MP front TrueDepth camera and the 5x telephoto camera, however, are still the same.
The only “upgrade” is that the smaller iPhone 16 Pro now also packs a 5x telephoto camera, which was previously exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Brightness:
By any measure, it is not an awful number. Additionally, the iPhone 15 demonstrated its brightness in our tests, measuring 1,401 nits on a light meter. If the iPhone 16 is any indication, the 6.1-inch screen ought to be exceptionally readable in bright sunshine.
Action Button:
On paper, the Action button, which debuted on the iPhone 15 Pro, appears helpful. Toggle the flashlight, launch third-party apps, initiate shortcuts, and more can all be done using the Action button customization. However, Apple made a significant mistake in the positioning of their product. It is excessively high, which makes it difficult to use on a daily basis.
Apple limited the Action button’s utility by keeping it in the same place with the iPhone 16 Pro series. The customisation and possibilities of the button are meaningless if it is difficult to access. This is an even bigger issue now since the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max sport larger displays, making them slightly taller than the iPhone 15 Pro series.
Apple Intelligence remains a work in progress:
Even while we have been thrilled by features like Photos Clean Up and some of the writing tools, as exciting as certain Apple Intelligence functions seem, Apple still has a lot of work ahead of it. You will not even be able to use Apple Intelligence if you immediately obtain an iPhone 16. The features won’t appear until October, and then, only as a beta.

It claims a notable improvement in CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine performance and is based on TSMC’s second-generation 3nm fab. In addition, Apple made a big deal out of Apple Intelligence when introducing the iPhone 16 Pro series.
Even with their massive capability, the new iPhones are not the only devices that have access to Apple Intelligence capabilities. Similar to the iPhone 15 Pro series, they handle most AI activities in the cloud and only execute a limited number of them on-device.
Hardware Upgrades:
The only yearly physical improvements seen in Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro series are a faster CPU, a larger display, and thinner bezels. This year’s sole significant addition is the capacitive Camera Control button. However, unless you use your iPhone to capture hundreds of images virtually every week, it will not make a big difference in your workflow.

Similarly, the larger 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screens are welcome improvements but not a necessity today. Plus, Apple isn’t offering new multitasking options on the iPhone 16 Pro Max to take full advantage of its larger 6.9-inch display.
Outlook:
Even while the improvements the iPhone 16 does bring appear well-considered, the phone lineup does not undergo any significant adjustments as a result of it. The new model promises to be an even better phone for those who want to upgrade, with a more advanced camera configuration. Even before we get an opportunity to complete our testing for the iPhone 16, we are confident in that.
