TVS Jupiter Classic BS-VI Scooter launched at Rs 67,911

TVS Motor Company has launched the BS-VI compliment Jupiter Scooter in the Indian Market. The BS6-compliment Jupiter Classic for an introductory price of Rs 67,911 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Which is more than the cost of the outgoing model. The TVS Jupiter is also available in a Base, ZX and Grande variants, the BS6-compliment iterations of which will be launched soon.

The TVS Jupiter BS-Vi model now comes equipped with the brand’s ET-Fi technology. This is part of the brand’s newly developed Fi technology.

TVS Motor Company has been developed two variants of the BS6 Fi platform- RT-Fi (Race Tunes Fuel injection) and ET-Fi (Ecothrust Fuel Injection).

According to the two-wheeler manufacturer, other variants of the Junpiter like Base, ZX and Grande, will be upgraded with BS6-compliment ET-Fi engines in a phased manner.

The new TVS Jupiter BS6 scooter now comes with a new paint sceme as well, called the Indi-Blue. The scooter receives additional features such as a USB charger in the front panel, a cube space the mobile and a tinted visor as well. The new version of the same 109.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. it produces 7.8bhp at 7,500rpm and 8Nm of peak torque at 5,550rpm.

Apart from the TVS Jupiter, the scooter is also available in three other variant- Base, ZX and Grande. The classic variant of the TVS Jupiter is positioned below the grande trim in the lineup.

TVS Jupiter was initially launched in India in 2013. it is claimed to be the fastest scooter to reach one million sales mark. More than 30 lakh units of the Jupiter have been sold till now.
