There is a strong chance that Pakistan and India will be the two teams to advance to the Asia Cup final. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan are the other three teams trying to get to the Super 4 rounds at this point.

As mentioned earlier, India faced Pakistan in the Asia Cup opener in Kandy. As the speed three of Naseem Shah, Shaheen Afridi, and Haris Rauf claimed all 10 Indian wickets, the Men in Green bowlers were at the top of their game. Ishan Kishan and vice-skipper Hardik Pandya for India were not given a well-deserved century.

New Zealand Cricketer Colin Munro Announces His Retirement From international Cricket
New Zealand Cricketer Colin Munro Announces His Retirement From international Cricket: New Zealand opener batsman Colin Munro has announced his retirement from international cricket. The aggressive batsman from New Zealand, who scored over 3000 runs in international cricket, has not played for the national side in the last four years; his last game was a Twenty20 international against India in 2020.
He begun his international career in Dec 2012, followed by ODI debut in the same month. While he only played one Test match in January 2013, he was predominantly recognized as a specialist in white-ball cricket.

He was a member of the side that placed second in the ODI World Cup in 2019 and made contributions to the T20 World Cup squads in 2014 and 2016.
Munro has been focusing on franchise cricket worldwide and cited his absence from the 2024 T20 World Cup squad as the reason for his retirement.
