IPL 2024 BCCI Sets Deadline to Submit Retained, Released Players’ List: It’s time for Indian cricket fans to select a side, considering the fact their excitement for the Cricket World Cup is powerful.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Auction date for franchises to submit their lists of retained and released players is November 15, according to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The IPL 2024 trade window is still open, but so far there hasn’t been much action because of the concentration on WC.

This time about, the IPL 2024 Auction is going to take place on one day. Additionally, on December 19, the auction will take place overseas for the first time—probably in Dubai.

Before to the major sale in December 2024, there will be a mini-auction. But like with other mini-auctions, the players’ salary will be the center of attention.

IPL Auction 2024:

For the first time, IPL Auction will move out of India, in Dubai.

The mini-auction will be a one-day event on December 18 or 19.

Before that, BCCI has asked franchises to submit a list of released and retained players by Nov 15.

All franchises will have Rs 100 Crore salary purse for the auction, an increment of 5 Cr compared to last season.

Punjab Kings have the highest purse left with Rs 12.20 Cr.

Mumbai Indians are

Among the big names who could be released are Ben Stokes (Chennai Super Kings) and Shardul Thakur (KKR), Lockie Ferguson (KKR), and Matthew Wade among others.

  • Punjab Kings: ₹12.20 crore
  • Mumbai Indians: ₹50 lakh
  • Sunrisers Hyderabad: ₹6.55 crore
  • Gujarat Titans: ₹4.45 crore
  • Delhi Capitals: ₹4.45 crore
  • Lucknow Super Giants: ₹3.55 crore
  • Rajasthan Royals: ₹3.35 crore
  • Royal Challengers Bangalore: ₹1.75 crore
  • Kolkata Knight Riders: ₹1.65 crore
  • Chennai Super Kings: ₹1.5 crore
