Rishabh Pant Will Join Delhi Capitals in IPL 2024: The Delhi Capitals management has announced that India’s star cricketer Rishabh Pant, who has been out of the game due to surgery, will captain the team in the upcoming IPL 2024 edition, ahead of the IPL Auction 2024 on December 19, 2023 in Dubai, according to Cricbuzz.
Additionally, the management stated that Pant is expected to be fully recovered by the end of February and is already receiving rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. Pant’s ability to play in IPL matches, nevertheless, would rely on the NCA management giving their approval.
Pant has had little prospects of playing cricket again, either internationally or domestically, after suffering injuries to his ankles and back and needing surgery on his right knee after a near-fatal accident on New Year’s Eve last year.
