Most Centuries in IPL: Season 2022 and 2023 witness the most number of centuries in a season. And the least number of IPL centuries were scored in 2009 when only 2 players managed to do it.

Virat Kohli holds the record for IPL Most Centuries (7). Chris Gayle is second on the list of scoring most centuries in the IPL – 6.

England star Jos Buttler is third on the list of IPL most centuries with five centuries to his name followed by David Warner, Shane Watson & KL Rahul who have four centuries each.

Kohli holds the record for scoring the most number of centuries in a single season – 4.

Most Centuries in IPL:

A toughest job in cricket T20 cricket to scored century. With only 120 balls to play, the players need to come up with something really special to score a century in the shortest forat of the game.

The tournament has been fortunate enough to witness players scoring centuries on a regular basis.

In 2008, the tournament began in a stunning manner when Brendon McCullum played a whirlwind knock of 158 against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the very first-ever game of IPL.

Gautam Gambhir Ready to Leave Lucknow Super Giants ahead of IPL 2024: Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir is going to leave Lucknow Super Giants before IPL 2024.

As per latest news, former BCCI Chief selector MSK Prasad has joined the LSG backroom staff as strategic consultant.

Now as per a Hindi daily, Dainik Jagran, Gautam Gambhir will be the next in line to depart from LSG. A source told the daily, “After Andy Flower, Gautam Gambhir will now leave the IPL franchise… I can’t say anything further beyond this.”

Reports also comes like Gambhir will make a homecoming with KKR. The India great has been in contact with KKR management for quite some time now.

After playing a key role for Delhi Daredevils and then joining Knight Riders for a record US$2.4 million in the 2011 auction, as a player Gautam Gambhir was more secure in the IPL.

In four seasons, he led the squad in scoring, notably in 2012 when they won their first championship. He then guided KKR to the second IPL title in 2014, thus registering his name in golden letters in the history books of KKR and the league.

Pakistani Pacer Mohammad Amir to Play in IPL 2024: Mohammad Amir potential British passport acquisition due to his marriage to a British citizen.

Cricketing fans eagerly waiting the participation in Indian Premier League. He is currently barred, but the passport may open doors for Amir.

After relocating to the United Kingdom (UK) in 2020, Amir is still one year away from being eligible for a British passport. Consequently, the speculation surrounding his potential debut in the IPL has resurfaced. Recently, the former Pakistani fast bowler himself has expressed his thoughts on this matter.

“I have one year. I don’t know what would be the scenario. And always move step by step. I don’t know where I will be after a year. Nobody knows the future. When I get the passport, I will definitely avail the best opportunity I get,” Mohammad Amir told ARY News.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistani players participated in the first season of the IPL in 2008. However, due to the strained political relations between India and Pakistan, players from Pakistan have been prohibited from competing in the T20 tournament.

Mohammad Amir explicitly stated that he has no plans to return to international cricket and represent England. “I won’t play for England. I have already played international cricket, whatever I had to play, for Pakistan,” the 31-year-old said.

Despite previously announcing his retirement from international cricket due to his dissatisfaction with the team management’s treatment, Mohammad Amir had expressed his wish to make a comeback for Pakistan.

However, circumstances within Pakistan Cricket have evolved since then, and it would be intriguing to see whether the left-arm seamer would contemplate rejoining the team and making himself eligible for selection.
