WPL 2024 Sold & Unsold Players Full List: The Women’s Premier League 2024 auction has commenced, with five teams attempting to acquire a maximum of thirty players between them.

Five players have already been selected thus far. Phoebe Litchfield was acquired by the Gujarat Giants for Rs. 1 crore, and Annabel Sutherland was purchased by the Delhi Capitals for Rs. 2 crore. Those are the two highest bids so far.

The Gujarat Giants, who had the lowest point total from the previous season and had released the greatest players before to the auction, were in the most need of strengthening their roster.

The Giants need ten players, but teams like the Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and UP Warriorz just needed five.

When Virat Kohli Meets GF Anushka Sharma and breached Anti-Corruption Code: Indian cricketer Virat Kohli was found guilty of violating BCCI’s anti-corruption code during an IPL match in 2015.

He was let off as the infringement was found to be a minor one. He was the led the RCB franchise from 2011 to 2021.

In 2015, During IPL match against Delhi Capitals at Bangaluru, he met his Anushka in the stands, breaching the BCCI”s anti-corruption code.

As per ESPNcricinfor, the code that Kohli breached pertained to minimum standards for crickters. The website claimed that RCB batter was informed of the violation by then BCCI anti-corruption unit head Ravi Sawami and let off, as the breach was not a big one.

Whilst outside of the PMOA, the Player, Player Support Personnel or Match Official must only communicate with those third parties with whom he/she has permission to communicate and only engage in such communications as are necessary for the completion of such purposes as have been approved.

RCB finished third in IPL 2015, with 16 points from 14 matches. They won seven and lost five, while two did not produce a result.

MS Dhoni’s Participation ‘Still Not Final’ for IPL 2025: Former Indian captain MS Dhoni, played with CSK in the IPL, is still not confirmed to take part in the 2025 edition of the world’s richest franchise cricket league.

As per Cricbuzz, the legendary cricketer will meet the CSK officials later this month and convey his final decision.

“Chennai Super Kings continue to maintain that MS Dhoni’s participation in the upcoming season is still not final, and key officials from the franchise will meet with him before making a decision. The BCCI’s announcement under the new uncapped player rule for IPL 2024 that players such as Dhoni, who have not played international cricket for more than five years, can be classed as ‘uncapped’ and kept for a fee of Rs 4 crore, increased Dhoni’s prospects of participating in the IPL.

The former Indian captain, who has also won three ICC titles, has yet to announce his participation in the IPL 2025, despite the belief of many fans and previous greats of the game that the uncapped player rule was reinstated to ensure Dhoni’s participation.
