Ishan Kishan Bold Statement: Jaana apka Marzi Thaa, Aana Humara Hoga

Ishan Kishan “Jaana apka Marzi Thaa, Aana Humara Hoga”: Ishan Kishan’s lack of awareness may be a contributing factor to his current position at the bottom of the list of players vying for a spot in India’s T20 World Cup team.

The odds of the speedy wicketkeeper batsman joining the team also took a serious damage after Virat Kohli, the master of batting, declared his decision to participate in the June major tournament.

The fact that head coach Rahul Dravid stated in a laden statement on Wednesday that Kishan must play local cricket in order to rejoin the Indian team has only served to complicate his situation.

The left-hander is now unable to be picked for the England Tests later this month, when Kona Bharat is expected to start as the first keeper, after missing seven weeks of cricket action.

Debasish Chakraborty, the secretary of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA), responded negatively when PTI asked if Kishan has made himself available for the ongoing Ranji Trophy.

“No, Ishan hasn’t contacted us or told us anything about his availability. Whenever he tells us, he will walk into the playing XI,” Chakraborty told PTI.

So, did Ishan make the correct decision by following his emotions and taking a vacation because he was mentally tired? He did completely the proper thing.

Was it incorrect for him to make this choice at that particular moment, when he might have waited until the completion of the Test series against South Africa? Maybe it was that he got the opportunity to read the Riot Act.

If experience and temperament for major matches are taken into consideration while comparing Kohli and Kishan, the Jharkhand player had no chance against the big man.

This is in spite of the fact that Kishan was one of the most reliable white ball hitters until the ODI World Cup, following Shubman Gill.

Did he have any cause for complaint that, in the last series against Australia at home, he was left out of every T20 match and only managed two half-centuries? Furthermore, Kishan has enough enthusiasm to not be offended by such marginalization.

Since Kishan is a top-order batsman, he had to be made the scapegoat if Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma, who also returned to the T20 setup, were to be accommodated.

A flowering cricketer often learns a lot while sharing the dressing room with legends. But ask any young player off the record, they would emphatically tell you that “no one learns cricket by carrying drinks and towel. Learning by doing is the only process.” Did Kishan miss a beat in South Africa? Of course, he did.

“Jaana apka marzi thaa, aana humara hoga” is what one could read between the lines of Dravid’s pre-match conference.

Possibly, it was a decision made by an emotional young man who walked up to Dravid and asked for a break.

But was he requested to stay back? We won’t know unless Dravid confirms.

What Kishan failed to read was Jitesh Sharma’s entry as a finisher and the Jharkhandi voluntarily vacated his place once he walked away.

“He could have perhaps waited and stayed back for Test series. In Indian cricket, if you leave your seat at your own will, you might not get it back. There are that many talents,” a former BCCI office bearer told PTI.

“And no coach or captain will you tell you this on face but when you go and tell them that I am going since I am not playing, a subtle ego works. Basically, you are questioning the team management’s call.”

However, the official was clear that how Kishan spends his downtime is nobody’s business.

“Once BCCI granted him leave, it’s no one’s botheration how he spends his time,” the official said.

IPL 2024: Mohammed Siraj's Baffling Comment, Virat Kohli's "Alag Cricket Chal Raha hai"

Mohammed Siraj’s Baffling Comment, Virat Kohli’s “Alag Cricket Chal Raha hai”: The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) squad had a terrific victory over Delhi Capitals (DC) on Sunday in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, and the team’s locker room was celebrating.

In addition to earning RCB the crucial two points, the 47-run victory improved their Net Run Rate and put them in a better position to finish in the top 4.

Players were making jokes about their teammates in the changing area, which created a genuinely joyous mood.

One of the best parts of the changing room sequences was definitely the banter between Mohammed Siraj and Virat Kohli.

In a video shared by RCB on social media, Kohli and Siraj were engaged in a fun conversation, with RCB spinner Karn Sharma also getting involved. Here’s how the conversation went:

Siraj: What a comeback! We only wanted to take it one game at a time. Qualification or the playoffs is not in our control. What is in our control is, fast bowlers have the balls, batters have the bat. All we have to do is attack. If we qualify, it’s very good. But we just want to continue playing this brand of cricket.

Kohli: (laughs) He is saying batter has a bat and bowler has a ball

Siraj: The mindset is to take wickets, right?

Virat Kohli’s “Alag Cricket Chal Raha hai”

Kohli: (laughs) Alag cricket chal rahi hai (he is playing different cricket). Just say, “All I can see are stumps”

Siraj: Siuuuuuu…

Kohli: (laughs) He is saying see you.

In another video shared by RCB, the franchise’s players could be seen celebrating their victory against DC, the fifth consecutive of the season, in a wild manner.

Though RCB’s playoffs qualification hopes have been given a big boost, the situation still isn’t completely in their hands. RCB don’t just need to beat CSK in their final league match of the season but also hope for a few other results to fall in their favour.
