Kuldeep Yadav Fastest Indian Bowler to take 50 T20I wickets: Indian leg spinner Kuldeep Yadav has reached the milestone during the India vs West Indies 3rd T20I in Guyana.

The cricketer become the fastest Indian bowler to take 50 wickets in T20I. The 28-year-old picked 50 wickets in just 30th match and surpassing his spot rival Yuzvendra Chahal, who took 34 matches to get there.

Kuldeep out Brandon King in his last over of the match, finishing with figures of 3 for 28 in four overs.

Kuldeep’s milstone is more impressive as he had a few horror years in international cricket after the 2019 WC.

He lost his place in the Indian team across formats and struggled to find his rhythm and confidence. He was also dropped by his IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders and played only five matches in the last two seasons.

However, Kuldeep has redeemed himself with some stellar performances in the recent ODI and T20I series.

Kuldeep’s resurgence has also put him back in contention for a spot in India’s squad for the upcoming World Cup at home. He will face stiff competition from Chahal, who is also in good form.

Both Kuldeep and Chahal were part of India’s successful spin duo in limited-overs cricket before they were replaced by Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel.
