Virat Kohli and Anushka Expecting Second Child: Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma, are expecting their second child. Anushka Sharma is reportedly pregnant and in the second trimester. Notably, Vamika Kohli, the famous couple’s first kid, was born in January 2021.

“Anushka is going to have another baby. Just like last time, they plan to announce it officially to the world a little later”, a source was quoted as saying to Hindustan Times.

Anushka Sharma, who frequently travels with her husband on match tours, hasn’t been seen recently at any matches or festivities. And it’s been said that the Bollywood star is avoiding the limelight in order to quell rumors.

The reports further claimed that that Virushka, as their fans lovingly call them, was recently seen at a maternity clinic in Mumbai. However, they requested the media to not to publish their pictures, promising to share the news themselves soon.

Anushka and Virat have urged the media not to take or publish pictures of their daughter Vamika since she was born because they are very concerned about her privacy. Vamika’s privacy had already been chosen, and Virat had stated, “We have decided not to share our child on social media until she understands and can make her own choice.”

“Motherhood has internally made me a far more self-assured individual – I feel I’m way more confident as a person. Anushka recently finished filming for her next movie, Chakda ‘Xpress where she portrays former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is with Team India for the World Cup 2023 which is set to begin on October 5. The Men in Blue will play their opening match against Australia.

According to the Jagran report, an official from the BCCI informed the newspaper that Ishan Kishan may be selected in the middle order since they are seeking a batsman who can attack from the outset. The insider said that Kohli’s IPL 2024 performances would also be taken into consideration; however, he might not be able to play when he opens for his team, the RCB. The opening spaces, however, appear to be mostly empty.
