ICC Announces Names On-field Umpires for World Cup Final 2023: The ODI World Cup 2023 is nearing its conclusion, and the Indian Cricket Board (ICC) has revealed the officials who will preside over the highly awaited match between Australia and India on November 19.

The match umpire will be Andy Pycroft, while the on-field umpires will be Richard Illingworth and Richard Kettleborough. The third and fourth umpires will be Joel Wilson and Chris Gaffaney, respectively.

In the opening World Cup match between Australia and India in Chepauk, the hosts defeated the five-time world champions by six wickets.

The Indian squad, led by MS Dhoni, will be keen to end their trophy drought in cricket. Their most recent victory came in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.

Since then, India has advanced to several tournament semifinals and finals but has not been able to win the championship.

India lost to Australia by 95 runs in the 2015 World Cup semifinal, but the determined Kiwis upset them in the 2019 edition’s semifinals.

The opening spaces, however, appear to be mostly empty.
