World Cup 2023 Schedule South Africa: World Cup 2023 schedules has revealed by ICC. South Africa will starts their journey in ICC World Cup against Qualifier 2 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Oct 7.
South African team will be looking for their maiden world cup title.
Total 10 teams will be featuring the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Eight teams have confirmed, while remaining two teams will decided on the basis of the result of the Qualifiers.
The league stage will be held in the round-robin format, which will be followed by the semi-finals on November 15 and 16 in Mumbai and Kolkata respectively. The 2023 Cricket World Cup final will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on November 19.

- Match 10: October 13 – South Africa vs Australia, Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, 2 PM IST

- Match 20: October 21 – South Africa vs England, Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, 2 PM IST

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Schedule Announced
ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Schedule Announced: The International Cricket Council announced the Women’s T20 World Cup schedule on Sunday, May 5. The tournament will be held in Bangladesh from October 3 to October 20. Ten teams will play in a total of 23 matches in this ninth edition of the tournament.
The schedule was made public in a Dhaka ceremony that was attended by prominent people like the CEO of the International Cricket Council (ICC), Geoff Allardice, President of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, and the captains of the women’s teams from India and Bangladesh, Harmanpreet Kaur and Nigar Sultana, respectively.

The esteemed competition will take held in the dynamic cities of Sylhet and Dhaka over a period of eighteen days. Two groups of five teams each have been carefully formed from the ten participating teams. India, a dominant force in the sport, is placed in a difficult group with Qualifier 1, Australia, New Zealand, and Pakistan. The beautiful city of Sylhet will host their matches.
On the other hand, Group B features the host nation Bangladesh, who will face tough competition from England, South Africa, West Indies, and Qualifier 2. The battles in this group will unfold in the bustling city of Dhaka.

Each group’s top two teams will move on to the semi-finals, where the top-seeded team from one group will play the second-seeded club from the other group. The teams who emerge triumphant from these close semi-final matches will be guaranteed a final position in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2024.
The current ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, will determine the qualifiers, Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2. Teams will be split into two groups of five and play each other once in the final match, which is set for May 7.

The ICC has also confirmed that both the semi-finals and the final will include reserved days.
India is set to kick off their campaign against New Zealand on October 4, followed by a match against Pakistan on October 6 and a qualifier on October 9. The group stage will conclude with a highly anticipated match against Australia on October 13.

Australia Announced 15-member Squad T20 World Cup 2024: Australia has revealed their 15-member squad for T20 World Cup 2024 at the West Indies and the USA on Wednesday, May 1.
The most awaited ICC tournament will start from June 1. The defending champions will led by the Mitchell Marsh.

Australian legendary batsmen Steve Smith will miss the tournament, asowing to poor performance in T20 format.
Young Australian dangeours batsmen Jake-Fraser McGurk, who is sitting the ongoing IPL on fire with his dynamic batting at the top of the order for DC.
While, All-rounder Cameron Green and Ashton Agar made the squad despite not playing in a single T20I for more than a year.
“It’s been an immense privilege to play for my country and now an even greater honor to lead the squad to a World Cup. We have had some strong success in recent times and I am hopeful that will continue in what looks like a wide-open tournament,” said Marsh as quoted by Cricket.com.au.

Australia have been in terrific T20I form, winning three of their last four series, including the last two against New Zealand and the West Indies.
Team’s powerful middle order features Glenn Maxwell, Tim David, Marcus Stoinis, and Matthew Wade. David Warner and Travis Head likely to open. However, bowling attack is similar to the one that helped the Aussies clinhc the title in the 50-over WC 2023.
“Being constrained to a squad of 15 for World Cups is always a challenge given the different scenarios and options we’d like to cover. We will continue monitoring several players who have missed out on this preliminary squad and note that if we wish to change this squad, we have the option to do so over the coming weeks in accordance with ICC regulations.”

“It’s great to have Ashton Agar back into the squad following a spate of unfortunate and untimely injuries. We believe Ashton can play a critical role in this tournament along with Marcus Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell, Cam Green, and Mitch Marsh in complementing our front-line attack options,” he added.
Australians begin their 2024 T20 World Cup campaign against Oman at Barbados on June 5.
