List 5 Rare Animal in GTA Online & How to find them: With the December 2023 update to The Chop Shop, animals were added to GTA Online. Prior to it, only Grand Theft Auto 5’s Story Mode, or single-player game mode, could have animals.

Rockstar introduced the Shoot Animals Photography Challenge, which calls for snapping images of 15 distinct game creatures, along with the multiplayer update. These animals now spawn in various places, with some being more difficult to locate than others.

Players must capture close-up pictures of animals with the phone app Snapmatic, making sure the subject is in the center of the frame and unobstructed. Upon successfully capturing a photograph, players will receive an email asking them to send it to the LS Tourism Board, whose phone number is provided as a contact.

The following is a list of some of the most difficult-to-find species that the player must photograph in order to complete the GTA Online wildlife photography challenge. It should be noted by players that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of this game are the only ones with animals.

5 rare animals in GTA Online:

Pigs:

In the gaming world, pigs aren’t that difficult to locate—that is, if you know where to look. Pig farms around Grapeseed, the little village north of the Alamo Sea, are the main places to find them.

Thus, the best place to seek for them is here. Having said that, Alamo Shores, Sandy Shores, and Harmony are also excellent locations. Pigs can also be seen in a few isolated locations across Great Chaparral.

Chicken Hawks:

In the Grand Senora Desert, the most frequent locations for Chicken Hawk sightings are Martin Madrazo’s Lock-up and Blaine County. Though they do spawn on the map in a few other spots, they are more difficult to find elsewhere.

Any of the locations indicated in the image above is where players can search for them. They are also occasionally spotted in the area of East Los Santos near the Palomino Freeway.

Great Cormorants:

In Grand Theft Auto Online, great cormorants are some of the rarest bird species. Fortunately, the Lago Zancudo area in the Zancudo River delta is home to a large number of them.

Some are even discovered close to East Los Santos, where the Los Santos River empties into a canal from the Tataviam Mountains’ Land Act Reservoir.

Pugs:

Pugs are one of the rarest land animals that are needed for GTA Online’s Shoot Animals Photography Challenge. They only spawn in a few select locations around Los Santos and are much rarer than most other dog breeds.

Mirror Park and Rockford Hills are known spots where the elusive Pug can be spotted. The dogs have also been seen around Vespucci Beach as well.

Crows:

Although this might seem surprising, but crows are the rarest birds in the game and are quite hard to spot for the Photography Challenge.

Grand Theft Auto Online has only two major regions where they spawn. These are the Lago Zancudo region near the Fort Zancudo military base and the Sandy Shores area close to the airfield.

The rewards for the challenge include $20,000 and 500RP for each photograph you take, as well as $40,000 and 5,000RP for completing a list.

Taking a picture of the first animal will unlock the Park Ranger ($2,980,000). After 10 animals are photographed, the trade price ($2,235,000) for this vehicle will be unlocked.
