MS Dhoni makes a significant portion of his income through sponsorship deals. He recently struck a multi-million dollar deal with online gaming business Garena to advertise Free Fire, one of the most played online games in the world, on mobile phones.
On September 5, Free Fire will return to India, and Garena decided to join up with some of the most popular athletes to boost its popularity, like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Saina Nehwal, Sunit Chhetri, and Leander Paes.

MS Dhoni was announced by Garena as the new brand ambassador of Free Fire India and as Thala, the first Indian sports figure to appear as a playable character in the game. According to Garena, this character will also appear in the Free Fire India Championship (FFIC).
It should be remembered that the central government of India also outlawed Garena Free Fire together with BGMI, previously referred to as PUBG. On September 5, the game will return to India under the new moniker Free Fire India.

Over the last few years since its launch in 2017, Garena Free Fire has emerged as the top battle royale games across the world, giving tough competition to mobile games like PUBG (BGMI) and Call of Duty.
Garena, which is the Singapore gaming company behind Free Fire India. It has also emerged as a top mobile gaming company in the entire world, having a whopping market cap of USD 21 billion, which comes out to Rs 1.73 lakh crore in Indian currency.

Virat left for London, where Anushka and the kids are now staying. A video of Virat pulling up at the Mumbai airport went viral on social media on Thursday night.

Soon after Team India’s triumph, Anushka Sharma wrote a heartfelt ode to her husband, a cricketer, and the Men in Blue. She disclosed that her daughter Vamika expressed worries for her teammates Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Virat, and other Indian players who sobbed following their team’s victory in the T20 World Cup.

And these players don’t lose on purpose. People have told me things like why are you asking a particular player to bowl or why don’t I take Dhoni in my team. Then I have to explain that he is with another team (Chennai Super Kings). I have heard from my mother-in-law how a team should be and also from the panwala from whom I buy cigarettes. All this used to make me angry; I used to sit in my sister’s room and watch TV as nobody comes there; have also shed my tears there.”

He added, “I’ve seen a big guy like Chris Gayle sitting and crying away under the shower after we lost. Yes, it was disturbing and I did get angry with people who told me what to do.”
Shah Rukh Khan was asked if he has ever considered leaving his IPL squad during the same interview. Khan said that KKR would never see him go!
