At least 22 people including Students and Employees of kokkan Krishi Vidyapeeth University , were killed when a nus carrying 34 people fell down a mountain road in Maharshtra’s raigad district today.
State Minister Vinod Tawaade Tweeted, 30 People students and of Konkan Krishi Vidyapeet, were fatally inured after a bus falls down a mountain road on Mumbai Goa highway near Raigard”, Resuce operation is underway.
A Total 34 people were on the bus, The vehicle fell 500 feet down the mountain, IANS Reported.
Rahul Gandhi , congress president also tweeted about the incident and urged the party workers to provide Assistance, “I am sorry to hear about the terrible bus accident in Raigad, Maharashta”. in which large number of people have been killed and many other injured.

22 people are feared to have drowned after a nearly 90 year old bridge at Mahad on the Mumbai-Goa highway collapsed during a torrential downpour in the region on Tuesday night.
The Dead included passengers and crew of two Maharashtra state transport buses bound for Mumbai, which plunged into river Savitri after portions of the bridge fell.
It is believed that drivers of the two buses, moving in pitch darkness amid heavy rain, failed to see that sections of the British-era, masnry bridge had crumbel under the weight to see of the floodwaters.
it seems like that, the Primary reason to be the high pressure caused due to flooding of river Savitri due to heavy rains in catchment of Mahabaleshwar, CM devendra Fadnavis said.
