All-Rounder Ravindra Jadeja Likely to Retire from Test Cricket

All-Rounder Ravindra Jadeja is likely to retire from Test Cricket to prolong his white-ball career going forward.

With two ICC limited-overs tournaments lined up in the next two years, Jadeja is keen to keep himself fit as the Men in Blues set their firmly on the prestigious trophy.

Jadeja, who missed the second Test against New Zealand in Mumbai, is not part of the squad for the South Africa series also.

He had suffered a forearm injury during the first Test against the Kiwis in Kanpur and had to sit out of the final encounter.

As the list of injured players continues to grow, one of the teammates of Ravindra Jadeja has told while speaking to Dainik Jagran that the ace all-rounder might retire from the longest format of the game to prolong his white-ball career for India.

If the Saurashtra cricketer decides to step aside from red-ball cricket, it will be a huge loss for India.
