OPPO A92 launched with Quad rear cameras: Check Details

Oppo recently launched a new phone in its A-series lineup. Called the Oppo A92, the phone has launched in Malaysia so far. It features the same specifications as the recently spotted Oppo A72 smartphone.

The Oppo A92 joins the likes of other A-series smartphones that were outed back to back by the company. Going by the design and specifications, it looks like a rebranded version of OPPO A72 that went official in China last month.

The Oppo A92 is listed on the Malaysian Oppo website and is up for pre-orders. The phone is priced at MYR 1199 (about Rs 21,000).

It is available to pre-order on the Oppo Malaysia website and the sale will commence on May 9.

The OPPO A92 sports an edge-to-edge screen with a punch-hole design and a noticeable bezel at the bottom. On the rear, the gradient-finished panel accommodates an L-shaped quad-camera setup along with an LED flash.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, Adreno 610 GPU, and comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Oppo has equipped the A92 with a set of four cameras at the back. They include a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with an FOV of 119 degrees, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth-sensing lens. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel sensor on the front, residing inside the punch-hole.

It also supports stereo speakers, a headphone jack, Type-C port, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/c, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS.

The Oppo A92 comes in Shining White and Twilight Black colours. The rear panel has a radiating pattern of light beams that originate from the camera island and end at the borders. There are rounded corners on the smartphone as well.
